On Dec. 1, 2021, the U. S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on the availability of Special Transportation Circumstance (STC) program funding. This notice made funding available for eligible projects through the Consolidated Appropriations Acts of 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
