Several Chip Seal and Fog Seal Projects to Begin in Southwest South Dakota
June 12, 2024
Beginning Thursday, June 13, 2024, crews will begin chip seal and fog seal projects on asphalt shoulders on portions of U.S. Highway 385, U.S. Highway 18, S.D. Highway 79, and U.S. Highway 16 in southwest South Dakota.
SDDOT in Search of Borrow Material Providers for S.D. Highway 15 Project from Clear Lake North to U.S. Highway 212

In 2027, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) plans to administer a construction project on S.D. Highway 15 from Clear Lake north to U.S. Highway 212.
Bridge Repair Work Scheduled to Begin on S.D. Highway 324 South of Brookings
June 10, 2024
Work is scheduled to begin on S.D. Highway 324 over Interstate 29 south of Brookings beginning Monday, June 17, 2024. With this project, temporary signals will be in place at the I-29 exit 127 off-ramps in both directions.
Shared-Use Path Construction Scheduled to Begin in Spearfish

Traffic Switch Planned on U.S. Highway 81 Near Yankton

Beginning on Thursday, June 6, 2024, a traffic shift is planned on the U.S. Highway 81 grading project north of Yankton.
