U.S. Highway 14 - From Philip East Eight Miles
This project will replace three structures, two box culverts, and construct one new bridge.
Approach grading and pipe replacement will also be included on the project.
Traffic is rerouted around the work area using the temporary diversions so crews can conduct structure and grading work. Traffic diversions will remain in place for the majority of the 2024 construction season. The first phase of work is expected to be completed on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, with work resuming in spring 2025.

Oct. 15, 2024 – Nov. 15, 2024, Completed Work: Grading and pipe installation at the sites located one and one-half miles and four and one-half miles east of Philipis near completion. Construction on the box culvert located one and one-half miles east of Philip was completed. Construction on the bridge located four and one-half miles east of Philip was completed. Erosion control work was mostly completed on the sites one and one-half miles and four and one-half miles east of Philip. Class HR paving was completed on the sites one and one-half miles and four and one-half miles east of Philip.
Anticipated work Nov. 15, 2024 – Dec. 15, 2024: General project cleanup will continue on the project. Guardrail installation and permanent pavement markings will be installed. The project will be opened up to through traffic. Work will commence next spring.
