Spring Load Limit Restrictions will be REMOVED from the road segments shown in the table below. Effective dates are included in the table.
Projects on I-29 and on Highway 32 Set to Begin
April 14, 2020
Starting Monday, April 20, the South Dakota Department of Transportation will resume construction on Interstate 29 from the I-90/I-29 interchange to the Exit 121 rest stop. At the same time, construction will begin on Highway 32 from I-29 to Flandreau.

HIGHWAY 83 RECONSTRUCTION BEGINS FOR 2020

Zandstra Construction has begun construction on Highway 83 from Murdo south 11.8 miles to just north of the White River.
Reconstruction of I-29 to Begin

The South Dakota Department of Transportation says a project to reconstruct Interstate 29 from just north of Sisseton to the North Dakota border will begin in the northbound lanes on Monday, April 13, depending on weather.
