Tree Clearing to Begin on U.S. Highway 385 Construction Project Near Pactola Dam

On Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, Zandra Construction will begin clearing trees along U.S. Highway 385 from the north side of Pactola Dam to the Pennington-Lawrence County line.
U.S. Highway 18 Scheduled to Open in Winner
November 16, 2023
U.S. Highway 18 through the city of Winner is anticipated to be open to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023.
Lane and Ramp Closure Scheduled for 10th Street Over Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls
November 14, 2023
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, crews will be performing concrete repair work in the westbound turn lane on 10th Street at the Interstate 229 intersection and the east radius of the southbound on-ramp. The westbound turn lane and on-ramp will be closed while work is completed. The closure is anticipated to be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) on Nov. 16, 2023.
SDDOT Seeks Public Input for Proposed S.D. Highway 34 Reconstruction Project Between Colman and I-29

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. CT to inform area residents of the proposed S.D. Highway 34 reconstruction project from east Colman city limits to Interstate 29.
